Bill Malarkey gains support to keep constituency name
An MHK’s bid to retain the name of his constituency has gathered pace.
Bill Malarkey yesterday (Tuesday) gained support in the House of Keys to ensure the name South Douglas remains.
Under boundary changes, it is due to become West Douglas next year as part of a revamp of constituencies.
Mr Malarkey hopes ‘common sense’ will prevail and says geographically, there’s very little change.
