Six Manx teenagers are getting ready for an African expedition next year.
The QEII students will be travelling to the Gambia in February, after the school won an award for its charity and community work.
On the trip they will take on roles as investigative journalists, reporting on how climate change and tourism affect people in the West African country.
And representatives from the charity Concern Universal, an international development organisation, have been on the Island this week to help them train.
