Walk-ins to take place next Thursday
Sixteen and seventeen-year-olds in the West will be able to go to QEII High School next week for a Covid-19 vaccine.
A walk-in clinic will take place next Thursday afternoon, from 2pm - 3:30pm.
Those in the age group who are yet to have a Covid-19 vaccine can receive a first dose of the Pfizer jab.
Those interested don't need to book beforehand, but are encouraged to register for the vaccine with 111.
Young people aged 16 and 17 who are household contacts of an immunosuppressed person will be offered two doses of the vaccine in line with the adult rollout and will be invited to register in the coming days.
Additionally, 17-year-olds who are within three months of turning 18 will be offered a second dose appointment, to be confirmed shortly after their first dose.
