
Safety is the top priority behind a major road improvement scheme planned for the Quarterbridge.
That's the message from Department of Transport officials on proposals to create a large, so called, oval-about at the junction.
On Talking Heads on Friday, DoT Network Planning Manager Derek Sewell said reducing the number of accidents was one of the main reasons for the project (audio file attached):
