Several protests in month on number of issues
Howard Quayle has dismissed suggestions of growing political and social unrest among Manx residents.
Last month saw protests over energy prices and abortion laws, and public anger directed at a planned rise in prescription fees.
It's been dubbed by anti-gas price campaigners as the beginnings of a 'winter of discontent' in the Island.
There was also a substantial reaction to an online tirade against Manx life from MLC Juan Turner - which the Chief Minister insists is 'just one person's opinion'.
