An MHK says a large new leisure complex in Douglas could kickstart an economic upturn for the whole Island.
Chris Robertshaw is one of many to welcome recently-unveiled plans for a hotel, apartments, shops and a cinema on the old Lord Street bus station site.
It's hoped up to 100 new jobs will be created at the Quayside North development.
The East Douglas representative believes 'prosperity begins in the capital', and the project could complement regeneration works on Strand Street and Castle Street.
He says it could herald success for the nation:
