The Queen's Baton relay comes to the Isle of Man this lunchtime, as it continues to make its way to Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games.
By the time it arrives in the city, ahead of the start of the games on July 23, it will have travelled almost 120,000 miles and visited 70 countries and territories.
But for the next three days, the focus is firmly on the Isle of Man.
Numerous local sportsmen and women, including members of the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games team, will carry the baton at stages throughout its Manx visit.
It will spend time in Castletown, following its arrival at Ronaldsway this lunchtime, then head to Douglas on a train pulled by the Glasgow-built engine Caledonia.
This evening, the focus will be on the Villa Marina in Douglas, from where the BBC's One Show is broadcasting live.
Presenters Chris Evans and Alex Jones will welcome, among others, cycling siblings Anna and Mark Christian, who'll bring the baton on.
The remainder of its trip will take in Laxey, Peel, and other locations in Douglas.
