Queen's Pier consultants appointed

Major progress is being made towards the possible refurbishment of Ramsey's Queen's Pier.

Consultanting engineers have been appointed to work on options to secure the future of the Victorian structure.

BWB Consulting is developing a preliminary design for the long-awaited refurbishment, and staff from the firm will be working on and around the pier this week.

There will be more on this story on Mandate on Wednesday morning, when chairman of the Queen's Pier Steering Group Phil Gawne is interviewed by John Moss.
