Group moves to carry out work
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says he’s delighted a Ramsey landmark could finally get some love and attention after years of neglect.
The Ramsey Queen’s Pier Restoration Trust has offered to start work bringing the structure back into use, according to its Facebook page.
The group says it is working with the government on a lease agreement in order to start work.
Mr Gawne says it’s good news for the pier which is 129 years old this month:
