Minister hears MHK's concerns
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says he'd be happy to talk to Homestay hosts about problems.
This morning in Tynwald, Onchan MHK Peter Karran said he'd had complaints about the booking system and preferential treatment being given to hotels.
A Douglas travel agent is now handling registrations, inspections and bookings for Homestay, as well as general inquiries about TT accommodation.
Under the scheme, householders throw open their homes to guests during the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.
Mr Skelly said the scheme itself was becoming more and more popular:
