The review of National Insurance and Social Security policy is the subject of a number of questions in Tynwald next week.
It was recently revealed £775,000 of money from government reserves was paid to the consultants who carried out the review.
That was approved by ministers, but not by Tynwald.
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft will ask the chief minister whether CoMin approved the spending and if not, which ministers did.
She will also ask the treasury minister when his department approved the amount, where it is reflected in the current government budget, and which statutory powers were used for authorising the review.
Meanwhile, North Douglas MHK John Houghton wants to know if the treasury minister approved the use of the consultants and the money to pay them.
He will also ask Eddie Teare why Tynwald was not told of the size of the payments.
