Funds queried as equality laws come in
The cost of making Manx schools 'disability friendly' is being raised in Tynwald.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford has asked the Education Minister how much is being put aside for adaptations to 'ageing' primary and secondary institutions.
It's as new laws governing equal access to public premises come into force across the Island.
Seventeen Island schools are currently fitted with dedicated special needs units.
Mr Ashford says bringing others up to standard won't be a major upheaval:
