
The three Onchan MHKs should still be able to work together for the good of the constituency, despite Zac Hall's expulsion from the Liberal Vannin Party.
That's the hope of Onchan member David Quirk, who's seen his colleagues, Mr Hall and Lib Vann Party Leader Peter Karran at loggerheads over the ending of state pre-school provision.
Mr Hall failed to back Mr Karran, who's also the education minister, over the decision and was sacked from his role in the department, along with North Douglas MHK John Houghton.
He was subsequently suspended from the Liberal Vannin Party, then had his membership revoked yesterday.
But Messrs Hall and Karran still have to work together in Onchan, along with Mr Quirk.
He hopes the rift won't have too much of an impact:
