Today's TT race programme has been cancelled.
Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson announced the decision shortly before 9.30am, after discussions with the Met Office at Ronaldsway.
Low cloud and mist is forecast to remain for most of the day with persistent showers throughout.
Roads will remain open.
A revised schedule for the remaining three TT race days will be issued at around 1pm today.
However, Ramsey Sprint organisers say the traditional event on the promenade there is going ahead today as planned.
