Manx Radio is launching its new online player today (Tuesday).
Radioplayer offers listeners live streaming of the station's AM and FM output, and access to manxradio.com
The player sits neatly in the corner of a PC or laptop screen and allows users to keep up to date with breaking news and weather, download podcasts and go back to 'Listen Again', whatever else they are doing.
Radioplayer is the first joint venture of its kind by the independent radio industry and gives online access to stations across the United Kingdom.
Manx Radio's managing director Anthony Pugh says it will transform the process of listening to the radio online (play audio file):
Radioplayers for Manx Radio's FM and AM services are available by clicking on the ListenFM and ListenAM icons at the top right of the manxradio.com homepage.
