Crookall looking for 'small steps' after SYSTRA report
A recommendation that a strategy should be produced for the development of the Island's heritage railways up to 2040 is 'wishful' thinking.
That's according to the infrastructure minister.
The transport consultancy firm SYSTRA put forward the suggestion after carrying out a review of the heritage network; it's highlighted it brings an estimated £17 million boost to the Manx economy each year.
