High winds have forced annual event to be postponed
The Viking Longboat Races have been cancelled today due to high winds.
Organisers say they hope to reschedule the event for a date to be fixed.
Sixty-six teams were set to race the harbour course from 11am today.
A new date for the event will be set for as soon as possible.
