The Manx State of the Nation Address takes place at the Mount Murray Hotel tomorrow (Wednesday).
The title of this year's event is 'Cash Strapped? Regulatory Strapped? The Future of Offshore Centres in the New World Order'.
The day-long event features lectures from high profile figures from the public and private sectors, including the economic development and treasury ministers and the chief executive of the Financial Supervision Commission.
The opening State of the Nation speech will be delivered by Chief Minister Tony Brown.
Bill Smith from the Alliance of Isle of Man Compliance Professionals believes the year ahead will be a challenging one, and Mr Brown will deliver a rallying call ahead of next month's Manx budget:
