Treasury Minister pays tribute to Jim Duncan
The founder of Ramsey Bakery Ltd was "all things Manx", says one MHK.
Ayre and Michael member and Treasury Minister Alf Cannan has paid tribute to Jim Duncan, who passed away at the end of last week.
Mr Duncan had led the Island's largest bakery since its establishment in 1972, and the business remained wholly owned by the family.
Speaking on this morning's Mandate programme, Minister Cannan said his presence would be missed in several spheres of Island life:
Figures show cost of works at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Section of former Ramsey Bakery site could become a motorcycle shop
Cyber security event to take place later this year
Warning after drone reported flying over farm
French tall ship returns to the sea
