Juan McGuinness believes the north has had a 'poorer service' previously
A Ramsey Commissioner is hopeful Bus Vannin's new timetable will create more opportunities to increase footfall in the north of the Island.
Juan McGuinness told Manx Radio for a number of years the town had 'a poorer service' in comparison to some of the western villages adding passengers could leave Ramsey, via the bus, later on a Sunday as opposed to a Friday or Saturday.
And this, he believes, is what influenced people to chose a night out in Peel instead of the north.
Mr McGuinness adds the need for a later bus is something he's raised for close to five years:
