It's now taking place at the end of November
Ramsey Commissioners says it has moved the date of its fireworks display due to a 'potential issue' with transporting the explosives.
The local authority confirmed the event, which was originally going to be held on 31 October, will now take place on Saturday 21 November.
Lead Member for Parks Margaret Webb said the commissioners 'look forward' to welcoming people to the town for the event.
She added: "We are pleased to be able to confirm a date for our annual firework display.
"The Ramsey display is always very popular and this year the fireworks will be accompanied by music associated with Take That.
"We made the decision to change the date of our display when our contractor advised of issues transporting the fireworks to the Isle of Man.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone to both the Firework Display and Christmas Light Switch On where visitors can visit the largest range of independent retailers on the Isle of Man and vast array of hospitality options.
"Ramsey offers free car parking and is easily accessible via Bus Vannin for those wishing to use public transport.”
The display will take place at the Mooragh Park and start at 7:30pm to music by Take That - with the Christmas Light Switch On taking place on Friday, 20 November.
