Vacancies are open across both North and South Ward

A by-election will be held in Ramsey for four new people to join the board.

The local authority currently has one vacant seat in its North Ward following the death of Wilf Young which was announced at the end of last month.

There are also three openings for new representatives in the South Ward - both Stella Moss and Alby Oldham resigned, whilst Reverend Greenwood didn't attend the required number of meetings to remain on the board.

Nominations will open for candidates at 10am on Wednesday 20 May and must be submitted by 1pm on 27 May.

If either election is contested, polling will take place on the 25 June.
