Local authority has been calling for conversation since April
A public meeting has been arranged by Ramsey Commissioners for residents to learn more about the plans for Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.
It will take place on 6 August at 7pm in St Paul's Hall.
The local authority says Manx Care representatives will be in attendance.
The commissioners have been asking for a public meeting about the medical facility since April.
A 'consultative committee' is being formed to provide a forum for 'ongoing engagement' as a long-term model for healthcare in the north is progressed.
Manx Care says efforts are continuing to find a 'sustainable long-term solution' for the future of the RDCH adding it wants to 'develop the site into a modern health and care hub'.
