Local authority hopes project will boost town's economy
The Chair of Ramsey Commissioners says plans for a new marina would add a significant economic boost to the town.
Andy Cowie says the proposals, although in early stages, are fully supported by the local authority.
The development has been put forward by harbour and maritime expert Robin Bromley-Martin.
Mr Cowie says he sees the project working:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
Plans submitted for 85 new homes on former Buchan School site
