There's a chance for voters in Ramsey to question candidates standing in the House of Keys election at a public meeting, called for two weeks before polling day.
Chairman of the town's commissioners, Captain Nigel Malpass, has set Wednesday, September 14 as the date for the candidate debate.
He says the move's in anticipation of a requisition meeting being called in the constituency.
So far two candidates have entered the contest for Ramsey's two Keys seats: sitting member Anne Craine and challenger Leonard Singer. Nominations close on August 30.
All candidates will be invited to the meeting, in the main hall of Ramsey Grammar School’s West Building at 7.30pm.
