Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Johnston says he remains totally against any boundary changes being proposed by Ramsey Town Commissioners.
The local authority wants to expand its border into Lezayre and Garff, but many are voicing their worries over such a move.
In January, a three-day long public inquiry was held which saw legal experts, commissioners and residents among those giving evidence.
Its findings have not yet been published, but Mr Johnston's constituency colleague, Chief Minister Alfred Cannan, thinks Ramsey has 'no substantial case' to justify its proposal:
