Douglas service now brought to northern residents
A new drop-in facility for those seeking employment advice has officially opened in the north of the Island.
The Job Centre, based on Prospect Hill in Douglas, has now brought its services from the capital to Ramsey Town Hall as part of a new initiative.
Treasury says it will allow Manx residents looking for work access to support previously only available centrally, while Ramsey Commissioners hope it will save the unnecessary expense of travelling to Douglas.
The twice weekly Job Club will now assume residency in the town's Library, where an officer will be on hand to help those looking for work, with anything from CV advice to interview preparation.
