Situation escalated when 19-year-old was physically removed 'in the first instance'
A Ramsey man has been bound over to keep the peace after a run-in with an 'over-zealous' doorman earlier this year.
Aiden David Brew, of Cronk Elfin, accepted the binding over order in the sum of £500, while charges of common assault and drunk and disorderly behaviour were withdrawn.
Douglas Courthouse heard the 19-year-old was involved in an altercation with a doorman at Bar Logo in the northern town whilst being ejected from the premises.
However, the prosecutor argued that upon reviewing CCTV footage, it would appear the escalation was "as a result of an effort to physically remove Mr Brew in the first instance".
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood imposed a 12-month Bind Over Order and dismissed the charges against him.
