A murder investigation is underway following a serious incident yesterday
The MHKs for Ramsey have described the serious incident which resulted in the death of a local person as "devastating" and "tragic".
Lawrie Hooper says the death, which resulted in police launching a murder investigation following the incident in the Close Drean area, is "awful news and devastating for our community."
He's also calling for those directly affected by the incident to be given time and space.
Alex Allinson shared his thoughts and sympathy with "the family and friends left to grieve", adding "our close community needs time to come to terms with what has happened in our town."
A local person has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being questioned by police.
