MHK 'wants best outcome' for Ramsey
A Ramsey MHK says he’s sure the town’s courthouse won’t just be sold to the highest bidder.
Dr Alex Allinson is a member of the Department of Home Affairs which last week put it on the market for £475,000.
Ratepayers in the town want the historic building retained in public ownership and the commissioners will this evening (Wednesday) consider making a bid for the facility.
Dr Allinson says whether it ends up in public or private ownership, there’s a genuine will to ensure the best outcome for Ramsey.
