Area currently in 'poor state'
Ramsey Commissioners are sending an open letter to the Department of Infrastructure over plans to regenerate the quayside in the town.
Minister Tim Baker and Director of Highways Jeff Robinson are being invited to discuss the proposals in more detail.
The condition of the quayside is widely acknowledged to be in a poor state, however, there are concerns the local authority is being pressured into supporting the DOI's plans.
Chairman Andy Cowie says improvements in the town are 'sorely needed':
