Ramsey resident believes he could be a victim of asbestos

Man and his brother exposed to the hazardous material before it was banned

A Ramsey resident believes he and his brother could qualify for a proposed compensation scheme after being in contact with asbestos for decades. 

Earlier this week, Manx Radio spoke to Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson about his motion calling for such as scheme, which is due to be discussed in Tynwald.

Asbestos was used in the UK from the 1950s until it was banned in 1999.
