A week remaining to register your interest
Ramsey Town Commissioners is looking for two new members, and you now have just a week left to register your interest.
There's one vacancy in the town's North Ward, and one in the South, to serve until 30 April 2020.
Those wishing to stand for election must submit forms of nomination to the Returning Officer at the Town Hall, by 5pm on Thursday 28 June - and forms are available from the Town Hall, or online.
Candidates must be on a register of electors on the Island - not necessarily in the ward they're applying to - and each nomination requires a proposer, seconder and eight assentors.
In the event that more than one candidate is validly nominated in one or both wards, polling will take place on Thursday 19 July.
