Sixty-eight-year-old failed to provide breath sample
A Ramsey woman has been disqualified from driving for five years after failing to provide a breath sample to the police.
Sixty-eight-year-old Anna Fratanu admitted the offence in Douglas courthouse on Tuesday (October 4).
The court heard how witnesses saw her trying to park in a disabled space in Shoprite car park in the town on July 31.
Miss Fratanu was taken to police headquarters but failed to provide a breath sample - the defence saying it was difficult forher to do so following recent botox surgery.
Magistrates imposed the driving ban, fined her £1,000 and ordered her to pay £300 in costs.
