The National Deaf Children’s Society has been on the Island showing how the latest technology can help people with hearing difficulties.
The charity’s listening bus was on the Island for the first time in more than a decade to allow deaf children the chance to try out hi-tech gadgets.
The roadshow in Regent Street featured specially designed alarm clocks, telephones and music services.
Louise Howry of the NDCS says the travelling project provides an invaluable service.
