Mayor of Douglas encouraged by turnout
The Royal British Legion poppy appeal has been officially launched.
The remembrance poppy commemorates those who've died in war and raises funds for the RBL.
Mayor of Douglas Debbie Pitts was present as this year's campaign officially got underway at the Strand Shopping Centre this morning.
She was pleased with the turnout:
