Officers at Hairpin
Police say they've been made aware of plans for a cycle ride on the Mountain Road today (Fri).
A post on the Roads Policing Facebook page says whilst they cannot stop the cyclists, they're urging those taking part to reconsider the route, as they point out slow moving pedal cycles and faster moving cars and motorbikes on the mountain road during the TT period are not a great mix.
Officers at the hairpin will stop and speak to all cyclists to try and dissuade them from taking the route.
