DHSC consults with residents and staff
Health chiefs have moved to reassure residents and staff at Kings Reach in Ramsey.
The care home will close this autumn after its owners decided to shut the facility, citing low occupancy, a difficulty in staff recruitment and the need to bring the home up to modern standards.
Health and Social Care officials are working with the home to ensure residents find suitable new placements, while consultation has begun with staff.
Director of adult social services, Cath Hayhow, says top quality staff will always be valued.
