Union members to go on strike next week
Recent pay offers made to nurses on the Isle of Man have been ‘insulting’.
That's the view of the Royal College of Nursing ahead of more industrial action planned for next Thursday (14 September).
The union is urging Manx Care to negotiate a fair pay deal in order to call off strikes which are also planned for 18 and 19 October.
Regional director Estephanie Dunn says numerous letters have been written to government but are yet to receive a response.
Manx Radio's Siobhán Fletcher has more:
RCN members will strike on 14 September, 18 October and 19 October between 8am and 8pm.
Manx Care says it remains open to dialogue but its options remain limited due to financial constraints due to an ‘exhausted funding envelope’.
