Walk-ins opened up to all adults
A record-breaking 2,441 booster jabs were administered on the Island yesterday, and similar numbers could be reached today.
The doors of the Chester Street hub opened for a walk-in clinic for anyone over the age of 18 for the first time.
Back in November hundreds of booster appointments were being missed.
Today the walk-in booster clinic will be open between 8:30am and 3:45pm.
Appointments can also be booked, and eligible adults must have had their second dose at east three months prior.
At a media briefing last night, the interim Chief Executive of the Department of Health and Social Care, Kathryn Magson, was asked if there are any plans to keep the clinics open later into the night, given the record take up:
