The 118th Manx Music Festival, also known as the Guild, has begun.
The biggest event in the Island's musical calendar is once again predominantly based at the Villa Marina.
Over the next week, entrants of all ages, including hundreds of schoolchildren, will compete for a range of awards in music, speech and dance.
Judith Ley, who will be reporting from the event for Manx Radio, says the popularity of the festival is growing (play audio file):
Judith will be presenting daily highlights from the Manx Music Festival in 'Today at the Guild', which starts at 9pm.
She will also be chatting to Alex Brindley on the subject, at 3.30pm each weekday afternoon.
