Speed freaks could reach more than 200mph this weekend
There's a golden opportunity for speed freaks in the north of the Island this weekend.
Jurby Airfield is playing host to the PokerStars Drag Fest tomorrow and Sunday (3-4 September).
The format is similar to the well-known Ramsey Sprint - anyone with a driving licence and a motor can enter the contest - but it is somewhat quicker, with speeds set to reach over 230mph.
Eric Holmes is the Manx Drag Racing Association's membership secretary.
He says even his wife is looking forward to the day.
