Staff reported that recruitment processes take too long
There are not always enough staff across Manx Care services to ensure safe care and manage patients effectively.
That's the conclusion from the Care Quality Commission, which has published its final reports following a number of inspections across several services.
Staff reported that recruitment processes often took a significant length of time, especially when advertising outside of the Isle of Man.
Director of Nursing, Paul Moore, says this could be aided by getting rid of the requirement to advertise jobs for four weeks here first:
