Young fans of Hollywood star Zac Efron in the Isle of Man have a treat in store tomorrow (Saturday) evening.
He and co-stars of the film 'Me and Orson Welles' are due to go on a short walkabout on Douglas Promenade just before the Manx premiere at the Gaiety Theatre, where much of it was shot.
The red carpet is being prepared for Zac and leading actors Claire Danes and Christian McKay, along with the movie's director Richard Linklater.
The screening here has been slotted-in between the London premiere two days ago and the third launch event, in New York next week.
John Moss was in Leicester Square on Wednesday night as the 22-year-old star of High School Musical swept in (play audio file):
That public appearance outside the Gaiety Theatre tomorrow night (Saturday) will be at about 8pm.
Organisers are understood to be keeping an eye on the weather, as forecasts are not good.
However, they are keeping their fingers crossed that Zac and the cast will spare time to meet the Manx public whatever the conditions.
