Follows Lisvane Report
Next week could see a 'new dawn' for the Legislative Council, with a major set of reforms due before Tynwald.
A committee tasked with evaluating the functions of the upper chamber is presenting its recommendations on Tuesday.
They are based on changes suggested by Lord Robert Lisvane two years ago.
A new job description for future members, measures to foster diversity in the chamber, and stripping MLCs of certain responsibilities are all up for debate.
