A depositor with the collapsed bank Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander is hoping a petition for redress of grievance could help refund everybody’s money.
On Tynwald Day, Ian Torbet of Douglas presented his petition at the hill, asking the Manx government to take action over the failed bank.
In particular, he says he wants the government to work with the UK and Iceland to return all the cash lost to depositors.
Mr Torbet says it’s already something which has been suggested before.
