The Health Minister is promising the refurbishment of part of the old Noble's Hospital will be of huge benefit to everyone.
Tynwald has approved spending of just over £2 million on renovating the former Jane Crookall Wing to provide facilities for services including podiatry, breast screening and physiotherapy.
Eddie Teare says at the moment those services are being carried out in conditions which are not suitable.
He believes the work will benefit the patients receiving treatment, and have much wider implications:
