DEFA minister keen to make progress
The minister responsible for registered buildings on the Isle of Man insists the process can be beneficial if owners work with his department.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot faced questions at this month's Tynwald about the lack of progress on registering local sites.
He admits it's an area he was hoping to improve when taking charge of DEFA.
However, Mr Boot says there can be challenges when looking to register a building:

Man treated for non-life threatening injuries following Ramsey incident
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
