Glass and cans to be collected
Douglas Council is planning to reintroduce its kerbside recycling service from the start of next week (18 May) and in Braddan on Thursday (21).
Households will only be able to dispose of glass bottles and cans for now, and are asked to rinse them and place them in separate boxes for collection.
It's to stop the risk of transferring the virus via contaminated material, and means it won't have to be separated by hand.
Plastic and paper can still be disposed at bring banks, which are operated by the government.
