President of the Manx National Farmers Union Howard Quayle says on the whole he's happy with how the first year of the Countryside Care Scheme has progressed.
There has been one area which disappointed him though.
Speaking on Manx Radio today, Mr Quayle said he was unhappy the industry had its business development fund cut by the government just a few months into the new scheme:

Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
